As the Manufacturing Systems Analyst I, you will assist in formulating and defining systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with a basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Applie functional knowledge to the design and customization of business applications.
Gather information from user for analysis of problem areas and prepares elementary feasibility studies.
Assist in preparation of system specifications.
Prepare simple functional process charts describing existing and proposed operations and routine logic flow charts of basic systems.
May prepare detailed record layouts from specifications provided by others.
May conduct elementary forms design and layout activities.
Guidance from others is readily available.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrates basic technical knowledge of assigned systems.
Must be able to communicate effectively with both end users and IT staff.
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
SAP experience with MRP, material master maintenance, production order maintenance, BOM’s, routings, and costing is strongly preferred.
Excel (intermediate level) experience with data analysis formulas, macros, pivot tables, and charts.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks based on business need and urgency.
Ability to lead process mapping sessions, current state/future state, in a team setting.
Ability to identify trends and root cause inventory issues, analyze part consumption to verify accuracy.
