As the first-line Manufacturing Supervisor , you will be responsible for assigning and coordinating work to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality.
WHAT IS YOUR ROLE:
Oversee personnel actions and most day-to-day operations of group.
Maintain log of shift operations.
Prepare daily time sheets for hourly employees, production summaries, overtime and downtime reports.
Inspect product to verify production specifications are met.
Review production schedules, material and manpower resources.
Assign employees to maximize production objectives, maintain quality and attain output requirements.
Participate in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment and procedures.
Maintain a variety of reports, records and production documentation to reflect schedules and performance.
Train new workers in the organization's operating procedures and standards.
