As the Director, Sales and Service, you will lead a team of Regional Sales Managers and Customer Service professionals within the Advanced Distributor Products (ADP) business unit.
You will develop and execute solid business strategies to grow ADP sales and revenue for physical distribution, organizational design, and market growth. Additionally, you will manage profitability through effective mix and pricing, and plan and manage the sales effort and customer service activities across ADP. You will create operating budgets and sales forecasts, as well as manage the overall sales program, strategy, and results. In this role, you will ensure excellent service for our customers and build customer relationships to drive additional sales growth.
You will be trusted to:
Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales plans, projecting expected sales volume and profit for new and existing products.
Effectively manage and proactively lead strategic discussion and lead implementation of the strategic plan to maximize revenues.
Achieve defined sales targets and expense objectives.
Actively define, lead and manage the strategic and tactical direction of the sales & customer service teams; aligning the sales team to growth targets.
Effectively define and present information to executive management team regarding performance, plans, and projections. Including development and reporting of monthly scorecard, forecast and sales report updates.
Build and strengthen relationships with key players/decision makers at our major distributors.
Develop sales operations functional performance to exceed internal and external customer expectations
Effectively communicate between all internal departments, to help manage projects, and foster open and honest communication.
Proactively set up leadership and management metrics for Regional Sales Managers including management of sales incentive programs for Regional Sales Managers.
Manage and lead the opportunity pipeline and quotation process.
Represent Company at trade shows, trade association and client meetings to promote products and services.
Manage and lead the process to assist in resolving customer opportunities within sales and service.
Initiate and assist management with the creation, development, and implementation of processes and procedures.

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
10+ years of related Sales experience.
Significant experience selling HVAC and/or refrigeration products, or sales in a multistep distribution environment.
Expert knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources.
Strong ability to build relationships (listening, persuading, negotiating, and managing time).
Must be able to manage the work of team members and optimize performance of the team.
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
Understanding of principles and processes for customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Requires substantial industry and product knowledge.
Must be adept with MS office tools like Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
This position is based in the Atlanta (Stone Mountain) office.
