Our Senior Manager, Organization Development will design and deliver organization development (OD) programs that are directly linked to the organization’s strategic plan and improved business performance. Our priorities include enhancements to how we manage performance, measure engagement, enable career planning, and build our talent pipeline. We’re looking for a strategic thinker and innovator who wants to have an impact on LII’s talent agenda.
Serves as the subject matter expert on organizational development issues and assesses needs through research and consultation with managers and HR Business Partners. Designs, plans, and implements OD programs such as engagement surveys, goal setting and performance management, leadership and functional competencies, and career development initiatives. Facilitates organizational effectiveness initiatives that promote employee engagement. Researches new OD techniques and suggests enhancements to existing OD programs. Contracts with vendors for outside programs for individuals and/or organizational initiatives. Manages, designs and implements policies and procedures relating to organizational development. Facilitates implementation of appropriate change management initiatives associated with organizational transition activities. Evaluates Organizational Development programs to determine effectiveness and manage continuous improvement initiatives.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent experience. Minimum 8 years related experience at the corporate level. Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus. Facilitation certification with one or more major training supplier(s) preferred (Skillpath, DDI, FranklinCovey, etc.).
Interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate with top management and influence team members. Solid consulting, coaching and development skills. Technically savvy with the ability to oversee and use talent-related software programs. Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels up to and including our senior executives. Thrives on a fast-paced environment and eager to have an impact on the talent agenda at LII.
