WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As the Sr. Manager, Regional Operations, you will lead Four (4) of our Regional Distribution Centers by utilizing strong leadership skills to drive results and enhance customer experiences. You will also positively impact the performance of each distribution center by implementing Continuous Improvement methodology. In addition, you will work with each of the Operations Managers to develop and promote safety, operational plans, budget, and shipping and inventory accuracy. You will greatly contribute to the environment actively participating in process improvement initiatives to better the facility.
Lead and provide technical expertise to the regional team in support of organizational objectives.
Be a Champion safety and promote safe practices.
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Contribute to standard policy and procedures.
Align with Supply Chain and Sales to achieve operational objectives in safety, cost, customer service, delivery and inventory.
Lead development of the regional financial operating plan, which includes manpower requirements, equipment, maintenance, safety and security.
Recruit, hire, train and develop staff.
Lead warehouse operations audits for all of the facilities in the region.
Ensure staff is adequately trained and licensed, precautions are taken to protect company assets, and buildings, materials, equipment and grounds are maintained.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:
Bachelor’s degree (highly preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
At least 3 years’ experience managing large, multi-shift, high-volume, fast-paced warehouse environments.
Experience with SAP and WMS are highly preferred.
HVAC experience preferred but not required.
Excellent knowledge of regional distribution center best practices, policies, procedures, and terms of trade.
Excellent leadership and able to build successful teams.
Familiar with Lean distribution methodologies.
Expert knowledge of fiscal control, budget forecasting, and distribution operations metrics.
Excellent decision making and creative problem-solving skills.
A steady performer under pressure.
Requires computer literacy in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
